Aqua-Tots franchisees come from all walks of life but they share a common passion for running their own business and for helping children learn a "Lesson for Life". Naturally, you will need to like working with children. Skills in customer service, marketing, people management and a financial understanding will help you. Owning an Aqua-Tots franchise(s) is both challenging and personally fulfilling. A franchise system is only as strong as its franchisees. A well run franchise reflects well on the entire system and a poorly run franchise affects the sales and reputation at not only that swim school, but at all the shops. Aqua-Tots Swim Schools is looking for franchise owners who value the reputation that Aqua-Tots has built for great swim instruction in a clean, fun setting. This does not mean that you have to be wealthy or have previous experience in the swimming industry. It means that you want to own an Aqua-Tots Swim School and run it as good as or better than any in the Aqua-Tots chain. It also means that you are willing to invest your own money, or invest together with a partner, to own one of the best swim schools in the USA.

Do You Have What it Takes?

The suggested minimum capital investment is $149K - $380K. Aqua-Tots philosophy is to grant franchises to those who have a strong desire to run a great swim program and business. One measure of desire is the amount of capital that you invest in your business. Aqua-Tots will, on a case-by-case basis, entertain applications from those who do not meet our suggested capital investment criteria and who demonstrate a passion for owning and running a great swim school. Plus, the ability to start you business in your home can be a great stepping stone for success.

You do not need to be a certified swim instructor to own an Aqua-Tots franchise. You must be willing to work hard to make your Aqua-Tots Swim School a success.

We offer franchisees one business model and a choice of two business plans to meet the needs of our franchisees during the start up phase of the franchise program:

Store Front Location - Business Plan Option #1

Begin with your own Aqua-Tots Swim School in a storefront location.

The franchisee will be trained, certified and equipped to develop, design, build and train their employees to showcase their Aqua-Tots Swim School location. A franchisee that chooses this option is required to purchase an exclusive territory in which to establish an Aqua-Tots Swim School location to service clients.
The franchisee will be given access to the Aqua-Tots Swim Schools facility strategies, custom pool designs, marketing plans and expert experience of establishing the business to help ensure success.
The franchisee will be trained, certified at Aqua-Tots corporate training center headquarters for up to three weeks with our master franchisee trainers. Franchisees that lease or build an indoor pool in an existing facility have the most flexibility and foundation to build additional swim school locations in their exclusive territories and have the potential of offering the most profitable services to their clients.

Home Based Business Plan - Start-Up Option #2

Aqua-Tots Franchise Begin by establishing contract agreements to utilize pools within your exclusive territory: (Master Planned Communities, Hotels, Resorts, Health Clubs

The franchisee will be trained and certified at Aqua-Tots corporate training center headquarters for up to three weeks with our master franchisee trainers.
Franchisees learn the art of establish contracts for satellite pool locations in their exclusive territory while conducting the business administration and scheduling functions from their home based operation. This business plan allows the new franchisee an opportunity to build a strong client base, maximize profits and reduce overhead costs, as well as minimizing the initial start-up cost.
The franchisee is given access to the Aqua-Tots Swim Schools facility strategies, custom pool designs and marketing plans and to help ensure success. All home based franchisees are required to progress towards leasing a stand alone facility with a pool or buying an existing facility within two years of signing their franchise agreement.
